CETI AI May Townhall Recap

If you missed our monthly town hall with our holders in discord this past Wednesday, here’s a brief of what was discussed.

The May Town Hall meeting focused on several key topics related to Distributed AI (DAI) and the Integrated Compute Federation (ICF). Key points included:

1. Introductory remarks and discussion about attendee numbers and timing of the Town Hall. We will be switching these to 2pm EST from now on to accomodate more attendees.

2. Presentation of the ICF White Paper, detailing its function as a switchboard for AI demand to hardware, reducing duplicated work, and increasing monetization for brokers.

3. Explanation of different types of demand source integrations — inference marketplaces, batch compute tasks, and crypto mining.

4. Detailed description of the distributed application controller and the shift towards federated Kubernetes for scheduling distributed applications across multiple clusters.

5. Discussion on dispatching methods for routing requests and ensuring load balancing and latency minimization.

6. Considerations for compensation models, emphasizing the need to avoid game-theoretic issues and discussing the socialization of revenue across hardware categories.

7. Rollout of provider dashboards and internal dashboards to manage and monitor hardware health, errors, and dispatch history.

8. Financial status update, with plenty of runway for continued development.

9. Comments on the positive morale and enthusiasm of the engineering team towards the new steps, highlighting the use of Federated Kubernetes and complex scheduling tasks.

10. Discussion with Bowen from Morpheus on the importance of a coalition in the DAI ecosystem and the collaborative benefits of joint business development efforts.

11. Closing remarks, including the sharing of a new searchable announcements page for the CETI website and the ICF White Paper draft and plans to continue discussing development priorities and updates.

Full transcription and ICF Whitepaper link will be available in our discord for token holders.
